Retrievals via allwhere are fast and easy for both admins and employees! We currently support the retrieval of laptops, mobile phones, and tablets.
Before you begin, ensure the employee(s) are added to your employee list.
How to Submit a Retrieval Request
Navigate to Retrieve Equipment and follow the wizard:
| Process Device | Select "Yes" if you want the device processed at an allwhere storage facility. Processing includes physical inspection, sanitization, diagnostics, and data wiping. Select "No" if you want the device stored as-is; the device will be added to inventory with a "Hold" status. |
| Known Issues | Let us know if there are any problems with the device before retrieval. |
| Insurance Coverage | Choose your insurance coverage level for this retrieval. |
| MDM Pin Lock Code | If available, provide the MDM pin code to expedite processing. |
| Employee Address | You can optionally add the employee's address here. However, we recommend letting allwhere collect it directly from the employee — this ensures the retrieval kit ships to their preferred location. |
What Happens Next?
If you didn't provide an employee address at the time of order, the employee will receive an email requesting their shipping address. Once submitted, both the employee and the admin who placed the order will receive order updates with tracking information. The order will also appear on your Orders Dashboard.
Once the retrieval is complete and the device has been received at an allwhere storage facility, it will be processed (if selected) and appear on your Asset Dashboard.
Automated Reminders & Order Expiration
allwhere sends automated reminders at key stages of the retrieval process to keep things moving. Below is a breakdown of what to expect.
Address Collection
After an order is placed, the recipient will receive reminders every 48 hours to submit their shipping address.
Equipment Return
Once the outbound retrieval kit has been delivered and is in the recipient's possession, they will receive email reminders every 48 hours to return their equipment. These reminders will stop once the return label has been scanned by the carrier.

| Lost or Damaged Devices |

Retrieval Box Guidelines
To ensure inventory accuracy and secure shipping, only one (1) device and its power supply may be placed in each retrieval box.
| If additional devices are included and the box is received at an allwhere depot, you will be charged the full retrieval cost for those devices. |
| Any peripheral equipment returned will be immediately recycled upon intake. |
| Including multiple devices in one box will void insurance coverage on that shipment. |
