The allwhere API is designed for automation-first workflows. Common use cases include:
- New hire onboarding — Trigger equipment procurement automatically when an employee is added in your HRIS
- Offboarding — Kick off asset retrieval the moment an employee is deactivated
- Reporting & sync — Pull asset and order updates into your ticketing systems, BI tools or internal dashboards on a schedule

Authentication
The allwhere API uses API key authentication with separate Read and Write keys, giving you granular control over access. Generate and manage your API keys directly from the allwhere dashboard under Settings > API Keys.
