The Asset Dashboard is your centralized tool for managing all equipment and merchandise—whether it's on hand at allwhere depots, allocated to employees, or processed for recycling or resale.
What You Can Do in the Asset Dashboard
The Asset Dashboard enables you to:
- View and filter your complete inventory – See what's available at allwhere depot(s) and track assets you've allocated to employees
- Take action on devices – Submit requests for repair, resale, recycling, or processing
- Deploy equipment – Allocate devices directly to employees
- Track merchandise inventory – View your current swag inventory stored with allwhere (US only)
- Export your data – Download a CSV of your assets or merchandise for reporting\
Viewing and Filtering Your Assets
Navigate your inventory efficiently using the Asset Dashboard's search and filter capabilities:
- Apply filters to narrow down your view by status, location, device type, or other criteria
- Sort columns to organize assets by any field
- Use the search bar to find specific items by serial number, model, or other identifiers
- View detailed information by clicking the asset number to access its complete detail page, including order history, current assignee, and full device specifications
Taking Action on Devices
For devices stored at allwhere depots, you can initiate several actions directly from the Asset Dashboard.
To action a device:
- Select the device by clicking on it (note: you can currently select one device at a time)
- Available action buttons will become active in the top right corner based on the device's current status
- Choose from the following options:
- Recycle – Responsibly recycle a device and receive a Certificate of Destruction (not currently available in LATAM). Learn more about recycling with allwhere.
- Resell – List a device for resale and receive credit for the sale price. After you submit a resell request, we'll obtain a quote and send it to your organization's admin for approval before proceeding. Learn more about reselling with allwhere.
- Repair – Request repair for any damaged device. Once submitted, we'll obtain a repair quote and send it to your admin for approval before proceeding. We work with authorized repair providers who honor device warranties.
- Process – Process devices from hold or a locked status. After confirming the wipe action, specify any required unlock credentials (up to three security codes per type: MDM Pin, Activation Lock Bypass Code, or Recovery Key). Processing includes our standard intake procedure: sanitization, inspection, and complete data wiping.
Allocating (Deploying) Devices to Employees
- Navigate to "Assets > Devices" in the left sidebar
- Filter your inventory:
- Select "Status > In Inventory" OR "Depot > [Desired Depot location]"
- Optional: Refine further by searching for specific serial numbers
- Select the asset you want to deploy (you can currently only select one item at a time)
- Click the "Assign Device" icon in the top right
- Select the country where you are sending the equipment to.
- If you do not know the country, you may select "I do not know," but estimated delivery dates will not be available at checkout
- Select the employee you want to send the equipment to
- If the employee has not been added to allwhere, click + New employee
- The continue icon will illuminate on the bottom left, select continue
Review the asset, recipient details, and shipping and insurance options.
- Click "Submit Order"
