Q: Where do we operate?
A: allwhere is an international company. Our base of operations is in the United States. Where possible, we partner with local organizations and operators around the globe to facilitate international operations. Currently, our international operations are most robust in North America, South America, and Europe.
Q: What are retrievals? Are there different types?
A: Retrievals are a service we offer in which we retrieve your equipment from a location of your choosing and store it either at one of our storage facilities, or can drop it off at a US based address of your choosing. There are a few variations of our base retrieval service listed below.
Q: What is a retrieval to allwhere storage?
A: This is our most common retrieval service in which allwhere will retrieve your device from your selected location and deliver it to one of our storage facilities. At our facility we can then renew/refresh the device and hold onto it until you are ready to use it once more.
Q: What is a bulk retrieval?
A: Similar to our individual retrieval, however this service is selected when you have multiple devices from the same location needing to be retrieved. We will send specialized boxes tailored to your number of devices and needs.
Q: What is a mass retrieval?
A: Similar to our bulk retrieval, however this service is selected when you have multiple devices from multiple locations needing to be retrieved.
Q: What is a drop retrieval?
A: A drop retrieval is similar to our normal retrieval service, however rather than storing the device in one of our facilities we will instead ship it to a US based address of your choosing.
Q: Can I retrieve from multiple employees at once?
A: Yes. This is called a mass retrieval. A mass retrieval is similar to our bulk retrieval, however this service is selected when you have multiple devices from multiple locations needing to be retrieved.
Q: Can I procure new equipment through allwhere?
A: Absolutely! We source from different vendors around the world to get your employees the equipment they need delivered right to their door. Check out our list of countries to which we can procure.
Q: What items can I procure through allwhere?
A: Laptops, monitors, desktops, peripherals, and an array of office furniture and other equipment.
Q: What are procurement kits? How do I build a kit?
A: A kit is a great way to get your new or existing employee all the equipment they need in one fell swoop. Simply work with your account manager or sales representative to build a preset bundle of all the necessary items your company offers to its employees and we will do the rest! You even have the option to give the new user the power to choose the equipment they prefer to use (options agreed upon beforehand and within your set budget, obviously.)
Q: Can I use allwhere to send gifts to my employees?
A: We work with a select few vendors to provide gifts for employees that are appropriate for any occasion.
Q: Can allwhere store my items?
A: Yes during the retrieval checkout process you can select allwhere as a final destination in which we will hold your items for as long as you need.
Q: How do I get my items out of storage?
A: You can view your stored items on our Inventory page. On this page you can action your items in various ways, we can sell them for you, recycle them, or ship them back to you or a new employee.
Q: What type of items can I store?
A: Anything you would store at your company headquarters, allwhere can store as well. We specialize in the storage and management of laptops, ipads, mobile phones, and company merchandise. Ask us if you have other needs.
Q: Where are allwhere’s storage facilities located?
A: allwhere has storage facilities in New York, Spain, Colombia, Brazil, Argentina, Uruguay, Chile and Mexico.
Q: Does allwhere do asset management? What services are offered?
A: Yes. allwhere offers a list of asset management services including: equipment storage, equipment sanitization, data wipe, OS installation, equipment deployments, equipment retrievals, resale, recycle, and donation.
Q: Will allwhere recycle my device?
A: Yes. We work closely with our certified recycle partners to facilitate the destruction of your company equipment. Within 45 days of completion, you will receive a Certificate of Destruction for your records.
Q: How can I check in on the status of my equipment?
A: An admin can check on the status of their order by navigating to the Orders tab of their allwhere storefront. Within this tab you can view all of your orders with their appropriate statuses. To view additional details on the order, select the order you’d like to view and a popup will show on the right hand side of your screen.
Q: How will I be notified about my orders?
A. A recipient is notified of their order status through email. They will receive an email for the confirmation of the order, confirmation that the order has shipped, and confirmation that their order has been delivered.
